S.A.M. Shortline is a tourist train that runs on the old Savannah to Alabama rail lines. The train departs Cordele at 10am, past Georgia Veterans park to Leslie, Americus, and Archery, returning to Cordele. Stops along the way are dependant on the tour day. The trian runs Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays, with special excursions on off days. The train operates from may until December.
